top and most prolific Slovenian artists.

years he directed 80 theatre and opera
performances, several radio plays
and 12 TV plays and documentaries
based on his own scripts. He writes
dramas, poems, novellas, novels, screenplays,
essays and radio plays. He has published
29 books. He received several important
awards for his work, the Bortnik
Award (the national award for the
greatest achievements in theatre)

award that the city of Ljubljana gives

EVA ROHRMAN
The founder and manager of Forum
Ljubljana, the institute for artistic
and cultural production, which was
founded in 1994 and is, as far as
the program is concerned, the successor
of the first civilian society KD
Forum, founded in the end of the sixties
in the former Yugoslavia. As such
Forum Ljubljana took over and continued
the first Slovenian independent video
production and in the nineties became
the leading independent producer of
video and art projects in the field
of performance and new media in Slovenia.
The producer Eva Rohrman has from
1990 to 2003 produced 20 films and
documentary video films (most of them
in co-production with VPK and TV Slovenia),
6 performances, 3 projects in the
field of new media, 6 multimedia exhibitions,
etc. (most of them in co-production
with Cankarjev dom, Galerija kapelica
and the Slovenian National Museum),
and organized a collection of video
production (more than 70 works), created
in the period from 1982-1990, which
is stored by the Film Archive of the
Republic of Slovenia.
The film Predmestje (Suburbs)
is her first feature film production.

Born in 1963 in Belgrade. Studied
at the Faculty of Drama Arts on Belgrade
at the department of Film and TV camera.
He is a renowned director of photography
with a rich filmography. He worked
with a distinguished Serbian director
Srdjan Dragojevi on feature films
Mi nismo aneli (1992), Lepa
sela lepo gore (1996) and Rane
(1998). He was the director of photography
for the films Munje by Radivoj
Andri, Do koske by Slobodan
Skerli (1998), the international
co-production Luna Papa (1999),
television film Marche chinois
(2001), and many others. In Slovenia
he has, apart from Vinko Mderndorfer,
also worked with Andrej Koak on the
film Zvenenje v glavi (2002).

ANDRIJA ZAFRANOVI
Born in 1947 in Split. Graduated
in film and TV editing in 1975 from
the FAMU in Prague. Works as an editor,
supervisor and script consultant.
He is a full professor and the head
of the department for editing at the
Academy of Arts in Belgrade. He edited
more than 70 feature and television
films and dozens of TV serials in
Belgrade, Ljubljana, Zagreb, Sarajevo,
Paris, Istanbul, Prague, Mnchen and
Vienna. A number of films that he
worked on were shown at the most important
world film festivals and received
awards. He received three Golden Arenas
for editing at the Yugoslav Film Festival
in Pulj. He worked on the films Otac
na slubenom putu (1985), Dom
za veanje (1989) and Arizona
Dream (1993) by Emir Kusturica,
Balkanski pijun by the directors
Boidar Nikoli and Duan Kovaevi

GOLOB
Born in 1948 in Ljubljana. Composer,
violinist and pedagogue. In his rich
creative period he was the violinist
in the Symphonic Orchestra of RTV
Slovenia, the editor for classical
music and ballet on TV Slovenia, a
professor at the Academy of Music
and the Academy for Theatre, Radio,
Film and Television in Ljubljana,
and a member of several international
juries at the music festivals. He
is a member of the European Academy
of Science and Arts. He received several
awards and acknowledgements for his
work, among them also the Award of
the Preeren's Fund in the year 2000.
His musical opus besides chamber music
and orchestral works also incorporates
film and popular music. He released
eight records and wrote the music

ZORNIK, DRAGAN CENERI, MARJAN CIMPERMAN
Julij Zornik was born in 1974 in
Ljubljana. He is a part-owner of the
sound studio 100 d.o.o. from Ljubljana,
where he designs the sound for commercials
and short, animated, documentary and
feature films. As a sound designer
he worked on the films Socializacija
bika by the directors Zvonko oh
and Milan Eri (1998), Moku
by the director Andrej Mlakar (2000),
Oda Preernu by Martin Srebotnjak
(2001), Sladke sanje by Sao
Podgorek (2001), Zadnja veerja

Dragoslav Ceneri was born in 1942
in Belgrade. He started working on
sound design for audio-visual projects
in 1970. Since then he worked on numerous
feature, documentary and animated
films (more than 120). He was also
an associate professor at the Faculty
of Music Arts in Belgrade, while in
1992 he became a member of the Academy
for Film Arts and Science. He worked
with several renowned directors, among
them with Slobodan ijan on the films
Ko to tamo peva (1980),
Maratonci tre poasni krug (1982),
Davitelj protiv davitelja (1984)
etc., with Srdjan Karanovi on
the films Grlom u jagode (1985),

Marjan Cimperman was born in 1949
in Ljubljana. Since 1970 he works
at RTV Slovenia as a sound technician.
He participated in the making of several
television films and broadcasts and
on several Slovenian feature films.
As a boom operator he worked on Matja
Klopi's Cvetje v jeseni (1973),
while as a sound mixer he worked on
the serials Ljubezen nam je vsem
v pogubo by Joe Gale (1987),

Born in 1955. A dramaturge, publicist
and theatre critic. Graduated in dramaturgy
from the Academy for Theatre, Radio,
Film and Television in Ljubljana.
He was the art director of the theatres
Glej and SLG Celje. He worked on more
than fourty dramaturgies in the Slovenian
theatres, among them on several performances
directed by Vinko Mderndorfer. As
a script consultant he worked on the
feature film Christophoros
by the director Andrej Mlakar (1985)
and wrote seceral screenplays for
television, the drama Mrtvi
(SNG Maribor), published several expert
publications (Dramaturke replike,
Dramaturke figure, Dramaturki pojmovnik
za mlade, Slovenska dramaturgija,
etc.) and collections of poetry (the
last one entitled Tkanja).

from the Faculty of Architecture,
Construction and Geodesy in Ljubljana
